They should bring this back and update it for use by PBS!

At the time this logo was used, National Educational Television was a "network" in the sense that the majority of its programming- film and taped- was shipped to individual stations by mail, throughout most of the '60s; they didn't have access to "coaxial cables", which enabled the "affiliates" to broadcast the same program at the same time, until later in the decade.
