  • That was a cheap shot. Bush didn't have to be there, he was there out of respect and this moron of a preacher just showed how much class he does NOT have! If MLK jr. knew what thes current so-called civil rights leaders were doing today he would roll over in his grave. The last place for polotics is at a funeral! Moron!! Bush didn't deserve that!

  • Not a cheap shot. Speaking truth to power is how Lowery made his bones. Had he caved or deferred to Bush that would have been the ultimate betrayal of all that he has fought to change in this world and this country. And more importantly Mrs. King would have wanted him to say it. She was a vocal opponent of the war for these very reasons.

  • and bush was there??

how did he have to balls to???

  • I find it interesting that George Bush and his administration gets all the blame for the lack of weapons of mass destruction. People call him a liar and worse, but did you know where the term WMD's in reference to Iraq was coined? That would be the 1998 Bill Clinton State of the Union speech. But Bill Clinton is never called a liar and he saw the same information when he came up with the term. Rev Lowery should talk about how great Corretta was and is today instead of using the dais to attack.

  • Bush absolutely took info he knew to suspect because people told him it was suspect and presented it as fact.....Colin Powell was presented info that was suspect at best and went with it. The President leads this nation, I am sure you are giving Obama "a pass" on this whole economic crisis because others are involved too....what a lame explanation, others knew too so I am not culpable....really.....

  • @kevcas73 I don't "blame" anyone. You do. I bet you blame Sara Palin for Jared Laughner too. I'll bet you think high unemployment is a republican issue. The economy is the fault of Republicans. I do not think Bush doesn't have to own up to the decisions he made. But to say he went it alone is absurd. Or maybe you believe he lied to H C and C P. Is that it? He tricked them? That wily Bush! I guess he was more intelligent then they were. He fooled the great minds of the smartest Democrats! WOW!

  • @BladderProductions The Commander in Chief is it......are you really going to try and place blame at the feet of Hillary Clinton and Colin Powell for a decision the President made.....This is the problem with people like you, use info until it is proven to be wrong and then blame other people after that.......The DECISION WAS MADE BY PRESIDENT BUSH......that is were the blame lies...excuse the pun......

  • @kevcas73 If the info was "weak at best", then why even mention it in a State of the Nation address? Stop naming Bush alone because you know as well as I do that there were PLENTY of people that saw the same info and agreed on the action of going into Iraq to include Hillary Clinton, Tony Blair and Colin Powell. Please stop making excuses for everyone else.

  • @BladderProductions the facts don't hate or lie or discriminate. Clinton did not go in because the information was weak at best and at worst it was NOT TRUE.....Well we know now from numerous sources that President Bush ignored evidence that the info was not true. Stop making excuses for Bush....It has been roundly proven by investigtions the US did as well as England.....

  • @kevcas73 So if Barack Obama receives information from a source he trusts that there is valid evidence of WMDs somewhere, anywhere, he should just make a speech and hope that deters them? Clinton didn't act because there was no 9-11 weighing on him. Bush didn't act alone and people like Hillary Clinton and others agreed to go into Iraq at the time based on that same information. Did Hillary and others lie? No people like you just want to blame Bush. Its all you want to remember.

  • @BladderProductions clinton said in a speech, bush went to war on it to the death of 100k Iraqi and 4k americans......NOW, YES you are up to speed........you're welcome

  • @kevcas73 So Clinton said it but Bush lied when he said it. Clinton is not a liar but Bush is.Ok I am up to speed now, thank you.

  • @BladderProductions get real.....not disputing he said it but you tried to infer it was Clinton's issue.......seriously

  • @kevcas73 look it up yourself, or are you afraid to learn the truth?

Clinton said it first in reference to Saddam Hussein. Oh, and stop drinking.
