@tommy41339 fucking hollywood, LOL. thats cool. I didnt really think that it is an active fire house and was in the 80's. I found out that the only scenes they filmed at the NY location was only the outside scenes, like installing the GB's sign, ecto 1 leaving at night to go to the hotel where slimer was, rick moranis being droped off by the NYPD patty wagon. and when the ecto 1 made its apperance as the black colored ambulance. and the scene toward the end when power was cut to the machine.

@theantmanify they made it both places they filmed most of it in new york but they filmed most of the inside scenes at this place if that makes any since lol see the new york fire hous aka hook 8 is as you say a real fire house and this one wasent at the time they used both

@jfarrar1982 The real ghostbusters fire house is in New York City. it is in fact fire station 8. that house's FDNY ladder 8. i live in NY of 24 years and pass it all the time and when the FD has the door open you can see the ghostbuster2 sign in side the fire house. it really cool.
