How can you go wrong with this?. The Sousaphone is one of the many attractions of that period.I remember at 12 years old getting the 'Saville' Radio Nights' L.P from Woolworths and playing 'Anything You Say' over and over again!!. It is testimony to the quality of the L.P that it still plays 100% perfect.

That is my favourite Jack Payne lp-"anything you say","happiness pie","emily brown" and many more that are just perfection!

Just on getting a Henry Hall fix!!I have an article to copy and send from a 1935 Dancing weekly talking about the changing sound of bands and the demise of the sousaphone and banjo.I think i like the very early 30s so as they still had these instruments and therefore the sound was richer.
