  • I really hope you continue with these videos. I enjoy listening to your thoughts. I burst out laughing at your "piece of shit" comment - so unexpected!

  • @wotchermuggle Thank you for your comment and enjoying the videos and the unexpected. I intend to continue. Have you subscribed to the channel?

  • Dr Sehl, I'm currently studying to become a psychotherapist (in London - using the integrative approach). I've really liked your first and second talks. Could you cover the following topics for me? Defences (defence mechanisms) and resistance or challenges / immediacy? I'd like to hear your take on it! Many thanks for this!!

  • @DzzzyBabe Listen to the third talk and see how much of that answers your concerns. I am not sure what you mean by challenges and immediacy. Thank you for your comments. I appreciate them. Did you subscribe to my channel and or friend it?

  • Hi, I am a therapist. I live in London. Thank you very much for making this video. I found it very useful. For me remembering different terms of psycho dynamic theories for therapy is very important. A good therapist needs ongoing study and reading. these videos are like free supervision and extremely helpful; Please continue your support.

  • I appreciate the time you took to go over these heavy topics, its so crazy how someone can tear up just listening to you in private but in therapy I'm rather emotionless. I have a big wall up I suppose! I just started therapy at 28 and it is long overdue, the topics are amazing and will give me time to reflect and dig deep into my true history and deep emotional anchors. This is a high quality video even if the view numbers are low. Large response to view ratio too! Thanks!!

  • Mark, thank you so much for posting this video. It is informative and helpful for so many of those that have thought about therapy but are aprehensive about it. You really give a great account of what therapy should be like. This should help break down the negative stereotypes that so often prevent or discourage many from getting the help they need. Keep up the good work.
