I don't get how this video hasn't gotten more views...
Good job with the slideshow, btw.

One of his best songs. Basically undiscovered, it's a shame.

The STP with LSD....no throwing cigarette butts out the window!

@Bwahzehdezooner never realised it as AL Kooper playing the harpsichord on this, I always assumed it was Jimi himself...Such a great single, back by the mughty.."Stars that play with laughing Sam's Dice"....Mighty!

@hendrix7755 Ah yeah, my mistake I remember with gypsy sun and rainbows when he played Hey Baby New rising sun trying to imitate it using the wah wah, then I thought about trying vibrato and realised that was how he did it! Of course it was much later than the experience!

@Samstrat94 not the start after the bit when he goes to the 14th fret some people think he uses the toggle switch but he clicks his vox on and off real fast, the uni vibe wasn't in jimis hands in 1967/8 woodstock onwords :)

@hendrix7755 In the start to voodoo child he's not using it that fast? And he also uses a uni-vibe which is often mistaken for the wah wah.

wow, that is a nice early version. As a long time Jimi fan, one never heard. Good for you!

This is lovely, thank you for posting it. I can't help but think, however, that Jimi never got around to layering a couple more guitar tracks over Al Kooper's harpsichord. It seems like it's not fleshed out the way Jimi would have preferred. This is not a complaint at all, but just an opinion. Thanks again.
