Perhaps the strength of this group really are songs from the olden days lol...disappointing to hear that their friend isn't back yet to make up the 9 member group and we hope the best for him and his family after his father's passing. As for this performance, much stronger than their modern song imo but hopefully they can choose a better modern song in the future should they continue in the competition. B+

  • @azukibeanmochi Actually, he's not the only one like that. Tanner, Michael, and Ross are also married but still attending university. :)

  • he has my heart skipped a beat @ 0:05

  • @DNeilia really, he's married? But i saw another person's comment talking abt how she saw jake in sch one day... Or could it be uni?

  • SWANK.

  • these guys are awesome.

  • @9kmurphy No doubt, twas just my take away from a few of Ben's comments throughout the show. You killed "Every Little Step". Ultimately, I think it really comes down to what Sony wants.

  • @willhalt01 I appreciate your very kind compliment and your support of the group. I will say (and not only because he's my roommate and best friend) that I think McKay's voice is in many ways much better than my own, and I wouldn't have been able to sell the songs he did lead on nearly as well as he did :)

  • From top to bottom, this was the best college group on this show thus far. Problem is, and you can sort of see Ben hint at it in other performances, is they should have had Keith been a bigger lead. Nothing against McKay, because he is obviously great at arranging the songs. I think they, the producers, wanted that "sound" when you hear it you know you're listening to VP. No offense to the other guys, but make a group of Keith, McKay, Jake, Tanner, and Robert when you graduate college.
