Bro this works on 2Gen iPhone 3G iPhone 3Gs iPone and 2Gen iPod as I own all of them and It works on 3Gen ipod but since I don't own one I didn't really wanna put in there ....you did something wrong...no matter if you said you did everything right you couldn't of cause it would of worked
