For those who think this isn't a game and never will be, or that he couldn't sell it, you're very wrong. Many computer game companies hire outside help if they need extra work done. FPS Creator is the engine, the artwork is the artist and you can also buy music, sound effects or other things you may need, and all to help you finish your project. And yes, you could sell the games you make with it. Big companies do the same thing every day.  GTA for example was done with outside help.

@xCHEAT69DEATHx I'd purchase the program myself if they'd simply add the "Reverse Y-axis" option (lots of FPS players can't play without it).

Also, most of the games I've seen that use FPS Creator seem to take place indoors, or outdoors on completely flat ground. Do you know if you can create hills or slopes with it, or are you strictly limited to flat terrain?

@goopah Pretty much, I've used it myself, the community is very nice on their forums and updates are released with some new features, It's really just for fun though.

@thevladdo Oh yes I have seen it. And it's perfectly fine for those of us that don't have the skills to do actual programming, but still want to do some very basic level design. I think it still sells for around $50. And it's probably worth just that. I don't think it's meant to compete with true commercial 3D engines. At least I haven't heard of anyone making much money creating games with it. People have fun with it. Nothing wrong with that.

@goopah He didn't do too badly because he didn't do anything at all... haven't you ever seen FPS Creator? it basically gives you a bunch of weapons , lets you create a map and spawn enemies that are all premade for you... this isn't a game and will never be

@thevladdo It is? In that case, he didn't do too badly, as this is the best I've seen FPS Creator look. I have to admit, I checked into buying FPS Creator a while back, but was totally turned off because they didn't even bother to put a reverse Y-axis option for the mouse, which is just a basic necessity in any FPS worth its salt. I even wrote to the company and requested it, but to this day, it still ships without it, so I'll never buy it.
