This shows how my new Bicycle Rim from Golden Eagle is installed. This one has the larger 105mm spokes. I broke the other rim when I bungee corded the belt adjuster knob to the seat. The inner spring broke so I had to pull the knob forward to keep the belt tight to continue riding. I left it that way awhile not knowing it kept it from flexing during riding. Thus the pressure tension all went to the spokes and broke them.
I have a Subaru Robin EHO35 Engine. 200 mpg. Level speed at approximately 27 miles per hour.
I got the kit June 25, 2007

  • hey...you use MAGIX movie edit software

  • Pinnacle Studio 12

  • How did your rim get warped so badly?

  • Part was pressure. Part was smaller gear. Part part part was I didn't know to check the spokes and make sure they were tightened. But also key was that I strapped the engine knob tight when the spring broke, using a bungee cord, and thus it had no 'flexibility' when hitting bumps. Thus the strain went to the spokes and they broke up next to the rim. Thus a warp. Now I have thicker spokes, and an extra spring incase the clutch knob spring breaks again.

  • Awesome Video I ordered a new rim and Im waiting on it to arrive. This video is exactly what I needed.

  • Great!

  • how has your wheel faired thus far an updated report please. Also did they include the spacer in the order or was that seperate.

  • I guess that works. If it were me I wouldn't rely on their mounting setup. I would weld in pieces of round steel bar between the pulley and the outer wheel rim (which would make it look similar to a wheelchair wheel.) That would take a lot of stress off of the spokes.

  • not sure if this is a good design... a big driven ring is grabbing on the spokes especially right in the middle part of the spoke body. that's the weakest part of the wheel. no wonder you're breaking it...

  • hello

of which the pulley and is secured to the wheel?

  • You do know your chain needs to be replaced, right? Your cassette gears are badly worn. They will need to be replaced to.
