Bella Savitsky Abzug (July 24, 1920 -- March 31, 1998) was an American lawyer, Congresswoman, social activist and a leader of the Women's Movement. In 1971 Abzug joined other leading feminists such as Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan to found the National Women's Political Caucus. She famously declared "This woman's place is in the House—the House of Representatives" in her successful 1970 campaign to join that body when she became the first Jewish woman in the United States Congress. She was later appointed to chair the National Commission on the Observance of International Women's Year and to plan the 1977 National Women's Conference by President Gerald Ford and led President Jimmy Carter's commission on women.

  • @MrAzdaz maybe stop blaming everyone else and take some responsibility your self

  • @subbtopp The issue you see is much larger then just freedom for women.I look at all the angles before making my mind up and correlate it with my own life,s experiences with the issue and the women i have interacted with.To get as it were a fuller more rounded picture. So now i turn the tables and your accusation back upon youself and your holy mantle of self righteousness. You see i dont just blame the Zionists i blame the WASPS and the Arabs and the fabian mind set that set this all in motion

  • @subbtopp And i am not against women,s liberation. But that and the feminist movement are not the same thing.Im against how the movement has been coopted to further other agendas ie as in marketing consumer goods to women and marketing their sexuality as a commodity.Which has been the case for the last 2-3thousand years. You see i dont just read a few books and a few newspaper articles and then assume i am informed on the issue.Thats just lazy and intellectually reprehensible.

  • @subbtopp Actually im not but i am all too aware of a very real zionist conspiracy .Being anti zionist doesnt automatically make me a republican.Fanatiscism takes many guises and many so called liberals would do just as well in the catholic church or in the ranks of the insane evangelicals. The outward apperance is different but the same sickness lurks beneath. As in agree with me or be forever damned. My opinion uber alles.Forgive me but i fail to see the compassion or wisdom in that

  • @subbtopp Exactly, she is so inspiring even today! I recently spoke to a young lady and she was surprised that women within my life time couldn't obtain credit under their name. We need more Bellas today.

  • @MrAzdaz ahh youre one of theses uneducated morally repugnant republicans i forgive you

  • wow amazing why was she every president

  • Woman with a heart of lioness. Love and light
