Just thought I'd mention that if you touch a bit of solder on the tip of the soldering iron before you put it on the connector it will help to conduct the heat better. Also, it's important to try and keep the cable as still as possible until the solder has solidified, otherwise you will get a dry joint. For those of you that don't know, a dry joint will be dull and greyish. A good solder joint will be shiny and silver.

Please wear safety glasses, especially when filling a cup with solder. The flux can get trapped at the bottom, and spurt hot solder straight up. Some varieties of solder also sputter flux, which can get into your eyes. Lastly, please don't dip the wire into acid core flux. Your connection will fail if you do.

@graysonhobby yes u can use bullet connectors for battery's you use shrink warp to stop it shorting out.

No do not use those on batteries..Use Deans aka T-Plugs, JST, or Micro Deans
