@MrClose2u Also an advice while playing lead - (although i don't know exactly how your guitar is set up) use the neck pickup; it has a bit softer and smoother tone ;) (since you said you are a beginner at playing lead)
And i guess this comment might prove useless since this video was posted 2 years ago xD

Hendrix used 100watt Marshall valve amp and huge speaker stacks with 4x12" speakers with volume turned up to MAX. This was played through a 5 watt solid state combo with a 6.5" speaker at about half.
