Good tutorial, thanks! But in December 2011 I get a "Denied" notice. It seems Freegate now only serves users in China--which is fair enough, no complaint here.

i downloaded freegate recently and I am in the US. It was obviously working correctly because it wouldn't allow me to view ANY websites because it said that I wasn't in another country! And then wouldn't let me exit out and NOT use it. It was like it was continuously running in the background and I had to do a system restore in order to go back to before I downloaded it! HELP.?

when i open up freegate it opens up a website but the website that it opens is blocked.
