As I mentioned in my Mac Gems blog earlier this week, whenever Apple releases a major OS X update, it isn't long before software tweaks start emerging that allow Mac users to alter the OS to their liking.

That's begun with Leopard, so in this Macworld Video, I take you on a tour of a few of the assorted enhancement utilities that have started to emerge in the wake of OS X 10.5's October 26 release.

What I should have said is "on a mac..." not "in OSX." Most software can be run IN OSX in one of two ways, but everything else can be run on a Mac, you simply have to run Windows. So yes, those pieces of software could run on a mac, simply not OSX, though I believe some of them can. And very easily. And the fact that we have to run Windows to use some programs doesn't mean Windows is better.
