The 1993 Bombay bombings were a series of 13 bomb explosions that took place in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra, India on March 12, 1993. The coordinated attacks were the most destructive bomb explosions in Indian history. The single-day attacks resulted in up to 250 civilian fatalities and 700 injuries. The attacks are believed to have been coordinated by Dawood Ibrahim, don of the organized crime syndicate named D-Company, which had operated as an Islamic terrorist organization

Even as Pakistan maintains that dreaded gangster Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar is not hiding on its soil, India has gathered some more proof to nail its lie. The don is not just in Pakistan, but is also flying sorties and Islamabad chooses to turn a blind eye.

While the police and intelligence agencies around the world are in hot pursuit of Dawood, he is touring Pakistan's skies in his private chopper. The India's most wanted man has moved on from luxury vehicles like Land Cruisers and Mercedes.

According to a report by the Indian intelligence agencies, Dawood has been flying in his private helicopter for six months. The cost of his Bell helicopter is around Rs 8 crore.

Intelligence sources told Headlines Today that Dawood and his brother Anees Ibrahim have flown many times between Karachi and Hyderabad in Sindh province. An unnamed Pakistani cricketer too is said to have used the chopper.

Dawood is forced to fly in his chopper due to the widening rift with the drug mafia in Sindh. Officially, the chopper belongs to a private company in Karachi.

Neither Dawood nor any of his associates or relatives including former Pakistani cricketer Javed Miandad have any chopper registered under their name.

Dawood started using the chopper when he spread his multi-crore real estate business in the Sindh city. The business is being run by Anees and a famous Pakistani cricketer is a partner too.

Sources told Headlines Today that a former Pakistan air force pilot has been flying the chopper whenever the don flies. According to Indian intelligence officers, Dawood's Pakistan ranger bodyguards also fly with him.

On the other side, the Pakistani establishment has decided to turn a blind eye to Dawood's flights of fancy.
