Growing Readers

Our Growing Readers video! This video is part of a KCKPL county-wide early literacy initiative, designed to help parents engage their children in reading at an early age. Studies show that the more children are exposed to language and literacy before they start school, the better equipped they are to become successful readers.

This video stars KCKPL patrons reading to their children, along with several library-loving community leaders.
