Comments:
After some great footage of Q173-07 I eagerly awaited this next coal manifest that was calling out southbound. Not too long before U703-07 decided to show up the YouTube celebrity FFV arrived who is a genuinely all around awesome guy! I really enjoyed talking and hanging out and I hope we meet again! Happy railfanning!

  • Hehe - thanks for the shout-out, although I personally prefer the moniker 'righteous dude'. Good thing those signposts were there, that's not exactly my best angle. :)

  • @FastFlyingVirginian Haha, glad you liked it, next time if you're ever in the shot I'll be sure to get your best side accompanied with the preferred moniker. ;) I plan on going back to Ashland this summer so maybe we'll meet up again. I also am eager to try out some of the shots I have been seeing in your videos, Guinea, Va in particular looks pretty awesome!

  • Nice shot.

  • @murjax

    Thanks man, I appreciate it!

  • @GulfWindProductions I'm kidding on the preferred title, I'm not picky about my shout-outs. :) Guinea's nice, the best thing is that it works for either morning or afternoon - since the crossing's wide open, you simply switch sides depending on where the light is. Ruther Glen is somewhat the same way, but I find it's more of a morning site for me. As you could probably figure out, I often start at one or the other and work south. Collier's a bit more of a drive south, but worth it.
