Music For Airports

Ambient 1 This is an ambient track from Brian Eno. Personally it makes me fall asleep.

this is the first time i've actually just listened to it. i've heard it in movies before. it's a real melancholy piece of work. i think i've found a new favorite song.

I've always enjoyed listening to "Music For Airports" after I've checked in at the airport, and am waiting for a flight. It's a bit of a ritual for me. All the way back to the days of the Sony Walkman, and cassette tapes, I'd be blissfully soaking up Mr. Eno's sounds.

the structure of this song is so simple, it's ABx10(roughly) but it's those little touches that keep it from seeming thin

I think the Lost in Translation soundtrack must have taken so much inspiration from Eno.

I love this music... It's so soft... So melodical... Helps bring out the beauty in life...

Thank you Brian Eno for this music.

Apparently they actually tried to play this at airports and it just made people even more anxious. They need inane light pop I guess... :(

Honestly?? That's awful! I would have loved to hear Brian Eno when I worked at an airport in Quebec. I'm still convinced that hearing the latest Miley Cyrus song for the 30th time that week is way more nerve-splitting!
