  • to put it simple...

JDM cars=CIrcuit racing, not drag racing.

American Muscle=Drag racing, Circuit dont even try...except for the saleen s7 and the corvette.

Vtec is something than even most american newer car uses, but not with that name, so dont blame it...

American engineer on engines, are not the best, if a japanese trademark try to do a V8 with its technology, im pretty sure, they would made a better engine than any of american...

But after all, I love all kind of cars..They are amazing

  • @mobshooter a turbo on almost any cars makes it go faster wtf u think a turbo is for retard?

  • @oskiller3006 You will never see an eclipse in japan. Your making claims off the simple fact mitsu of america used the same 4g63 concept.I don't think its a wannabe considering its the same company lol. They just didnt agree with the production of the eclipse "shell" as you would say in japan, so the americans went with it here and had huge success...... Now when you put a chevy motor in your ford so it gets down the track, thats a wannabe right? . .

  • @MrCheez1 No your wrong. DSMs were only manufactured in the USA. Mitsu of America used the same specs of the japanese 4g63 but was made here in the USA. There a differences between the motors, such as intake/exhaust manis. If something is produced here in the united states and stamped "made in the USA", that makes it american correct?

  • @crankwalker95 your wrong only the 420a is american because its made by chrysler. all the others are mits

  • @005GSXTasy DSM ≠ JDM, i dont agree at all... Its better to say... DSM = JDM wannabe.

  • @crankwalker95 All that information is useful, but i never said eclipses are JDM, even so, eclipses are used in japan because its characteristics of car are similar to japanese standards, even if the car is american, its still a jdm wannabe, dont you think?...or in my comment its that written? truly american cars are v8 with huge torque, and not so good weight to ratio settings...( I respect the SSC aero, and the Saleen S7 those cars are top notch, even the vette), Drag = EEUU, Circuit=JDM.

  • @manniiphresh the eclipse would still win. you don't know what you're talking about. you're a honda fan boy, and know nothing about any other car. I can safely say that the eclipse has greater potential...

Also, that eclipse could go for around $5K.

how much does a K20 cost?

what about the other mods required to do that swap?

    then the shell?

    total cost now?

ok, so lets try something else...

    what has a K20 stock?

ok, now how much does that cost?

do a search for brent rau.

  • @oskiller3006 eclipse is not JDM.... not wanting to argue, it's fact. Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, and Plymouth Laser were made in Normal, IL, by American citizens and their American hands. so..... DSM ≠ JDM

  • @superstankful

Sorry to bust your bubble but good luck selling a eclipse for a profit your car is NOT an INVESTMENT. And put a stock k20 again that turbo eclipse and see what happens
