I live on the Costa del Sol, Spain ....... sunshine nearly all the time, after two days in the very strong summer sun about 9 hours each day (the charge light on the device never went out to say the internal battery was fully charged) I charged my Nokia N95 from flat but the resulting charge on the phone was about 20%
Works but doesn't do what it says in the leaflet and charge up after a few hours poor response from the solar cells.

hey have you tested this out yet?
All im wondering is if you can actually charge your device with it, or if you need the UVEE plugged in at all times to use your device.

I tested it this morning with a flat battery on a Nokia 6680, and no stored power in the UVEE...
It wont charge the device while its connected to the UVEE, with no stored power, and exposed to the sun.
It would appear you have to charge the UVEE first, either from the sun or from mains power etc. Then connect and charge your device.
Hope that helps.

Hey i have a question.
Do you have to chrage the UVEE unit then plug it into your device to run it?
Or can you plug your flat device into the UVEE and directly charge the device then use the device without UVEE plugged in?
Im after a solar charger where it actually charges the device not itself.

Well in the instruction booklet, it does not mention anything like this. All it mentions, is to charge it first, then plug it into a device. So im not really sure.
However i did see a review of a similar product on TV, being tested like this. The outcome was that it worked this way, somewhat. But it was very slow and dependant on the available power from the sun.
I will test this out when i have time over the next few days, then post back the results.
