@FSX404 yeah this one is a '73. They have a '79 which is, i think, 96$/hr.

This one is $150/hr. The gauge one is $145/hr, but it is a C-172SP, I know of places that have the C-172N (1978-1979) for $95/hr, so if you are paying $90/hr that is awesome, I wish they had one here.

Very nice flight! What do they charge/hr for a 172 w/ G1000? I pay ~$90/hr but it's all steam gauges and an older plane.

Actually, I've bounced many landings (including my only one at KLAX) but not this one. I was just a little too eager to keep the nose wheel off the ground. You can usually tell by the sound of the touchdown more than the video about the landing itself. BTW, if I bounce I'll use a soft field technique to get the plane down, usually .
how do you attatch the camera inside the aircraft?

I have one of those suction things for video cameras that I bought and I just mount it on the rear window. You are not allowed to put anything on the side windows, on top of the instrument panel or mount anything outside without an FAA approval, even though you see some people do it. The FAA has gone after some of the people that have done it, no joke.

I just buzzed them again, coming back from Catalina, I have to check out that video still, hope my sister filmed it OK.
It's hard to get actual IFR here in LA, we have those clear skies 350 days a year, but I'll try, usually if the weather is IMC and I'm flying IFR, I don't bring cameras because I want all my focus to be on the preflight and the flight. But I'll see if I can get some IFR/IMC video.

It really was, with the exception of some turbulence over the port of Long Beach, they have too many smoke stacks and they cause a lot of turbulence, even at 1500 feet. This particular one was really bad, immediately slowed the plane down to Va. If you can "hear" the turbulence, then you are getting into moderate levels.
