i actually was in 7th grade when this came out, in LOVE with paula, and did a science fair project on it! about green screen technology! got a hold of the production company, they sent me 3 vhs tapes of making ofs, KILLING myself for losing them all these years later!!! but on 1 tape, diet coke exec said the idea was 'just one'- cuz just calorie in diet coke. paula was the #1 star then, who else is there just 1 of- went thru film/musical history, gene, groucho, cary. all just ones! so great. ahh

They don't make commercials like this anymore. Nowadays, you've got, "I'm suffering from erectile dysfunction." OR, "I just insert this inside my uterus and I won't get pregnant!" OR, "I use K Y extra-sensitive and now me and my boyfriend have sex like rabbits!" We never had those kinds of trashy commercials back then. Commercials were actually fun to watch then. I often find myself here looking at old retro stuff.

Why doesn't Coca Cola use these commercials during American Idol? They could add shots of the current cans and bottles for easier product recognition, if that is an issue.

Is she hotter in this commercial or this past year on American Idol? I don't really know. She never seems to age.
