@MagicalHobo1001 I both agree and disagree with you. While drug use can lead to terrible things, obviously, the legalization of drugs has actually helped some countries. And I say some because it likely wouldn't work for all nations. But, in a few instances, I have heard that countries that have legalized drugs actually have less people using them, becoming addicted, or being injured in drug trafficking problems. When drugs are legalized, traffickers lose business and violence goes down.

Illicit drug use is not a victimless crime..... You live in a fantasy world if you think people who use drugs have no impact on those around them. Drug addicts are a burden to society and if people want that freedom then let them chose a country that allows them to. We live in a society with laws that protect people and I believe to a privilege to live in such a society. I know it isn't perfect but it could be a lot worse.

Most birds can also see into the ultraviolet. But I'm grateful just to be a trichromat.

re: believing in god only in youth - Growing up our family went to a Presbyterian church on Sundays but as a small child I was always sent to the separate Sunday School. I didn't know what the adults were off too. I also just assumed that in Sunday School we were learning children's fables, no different from the tortoise and the hare. I saw a bible sitting out around the house one day, and said to my dad, 'Holy BIBLE! Aren't you a bit OLD for that?'

being used based on stem cell research.
Its really quite interesting. I think there`s a certainly real possibility you may have your sight returned to you in the future.
Its really quite amazing what kinds of Medical procedures we may see in the next decade or two.

Eagles are tetrachromatic, possibly pentachromats. Eagles have 4 times our visual acuity and 4,maybe even 5, different cone-types.
Tetrachromacy is the rule in tetrapods, but mammals because of our subterranean nocturnal ancestors lost 2 cone-types -- not much point having great colorvision in the dark. OldWorldMonkeys had the gene for the green cone duplicated and a few mutations later, it is sensitive to red light.
Most mammals are dichromats, but we OldWorldMonkies are trichromats.
