FDR: A Presidency Revealed examines one of history's most compelling figures. Inspired by his cousin Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt rose to the nation's highest office during the depths of one of its darkest periods - and after being stricken with polio at the age of 39! A man of few words, he brought a desperate nation together through Fireside Chats and sweeping reforms like Social Security and the New Deal. Greater still, he lead America through the greatest war the world had ever known, and set international policy for a new global order. At the same time, his administration hid a dark underbelly teeming with covert actions, spy rings, and powerful enemies.

FDR: A Presidency Revealed is the full unexpurgated story of one man's remarkable presidency.

I second that. A facade on Mount Rushmore would bw appropriate.

  • A remarkable man indeed. I admire him.

  • I agree Mount Rushmore would be fitting for this truly great man. He worked himself to death for America and also ( Im British ) for the World. Amazing.

  • fuck ronald reagan, put rosevelt on rushmore

  • Without a doubt, one of the greatest heroes of the last century...

There are, in my view, seven truly great American Presidents that defined this nation:

Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, and Teddy Roosevelt, all on Rushmore...

JFK, for a thousand days of a true American Camelot...

Reagan, for winning the Cold War and bringing Aemrica's confidence back...

And FDR, for everything he did in this 19-part documentary--and so much more.

    The Magnificent Seven! :)

  • This documentary was VERY addicting! I'm glad I sat down and watched this documentary about one of my personal heroes. :D

  • I enjoyed watching this entire documentary. May the US continue to have strong leaders like FDR.

  • America today has 4 huge problems it's people just can't seem to see! (1) You cannot Consume (ie: live a good life, spend, have, buy, own), and not Produce (ie: full time jobs, manufacture things). (2) You have excepted a new Ruling King over you (ie: the rich elite, rich corporations, greed). (3) You run a world wide empire you cannot afford. (4) You are too religious, and often elect leaders based on religion (ie: all religion's restrict rights & freedoms, "study human history")!

  • He had many flaws, he made many mistakes and left many things unchanged that should have been done away with. Yet he stayed strong for 12 years of illness in front of the nation, leading them through the toughest times they had ever faced. He was a brave and strong man and for that he deserves all the honor in the world.
