there is a lou pride 3 45 boxset on jazzmanrecords,they also have a subsidury label called funk 45 all their 45s r analogue n its well worth hearin lou pride as he originally meant it 2 b heard.if u think it sounds better on mp3 u need 2 hear quality analogue equipment n compare before u beleive cos on 45 its another exspeariance altogether,digital tech far from makes this exspeariance irrelavent.the fact is a quality analogue recording is vastly sonically superior 2 any digital format.

memories of Mansfield in the late 60s early 70s before the term northern soul apperd, whent to the sherwood rooms/folkhouse,this is where the likes of kev roberts and others hung out, later on around 1974 started to visit wigans brilliant casino had some great times.58 now great times would never change them.
