I was just wondering if it is possible to find the force of tension between the two objects and applied force, if only mass 1, mass 2 and total force of friction were given? I know we can calculate the amount of friction acting on each individual mass, but wouldn't we need acceleration to solve for Ft and Fa?

i just turned 13, (gr9) so this doesn't apply to me in my courses so far so excuse me if i sound silly, but shouldn't the final answer be velocity not acceleration?

are there any lectures explaining the concepts of newton's laws
chotapathan313 1 year ago
@chotapathan313 We used Newton's laws to solve problems but we did not go over the concepts. That is a good idea that we will try and get to. Thanks.
