btw first shot he used the wrong end of his scouring stick...

Also: muskets in battle scare more than bows. BUM!

A soldier needs years to became good with a bow. On the contrary a man need few weeks of training to became a quite good musketeer, and also don't need the same strenght. A musket could also pierce an armour easily, and is also less hard to use, then a musketeer can shoot for more time. The advantage of a bow in a one to one situation is non influetial for military purpose.

The book was a riveting piece of historical fiction. Loved it; and of course this is quite informative.. Thanks!

I want one.

@JFuzzman yeah but overall despite the cumbersomeness of early firearms they quickly replaced bow & arrow in Europe because of their overall military advantage.

@supersmash43 Yeah but in a one on one situation, it would probably be better xD I could shot him while he's loading. Of course I'd need to be good with a bow, but you get where I'm coming from.
-
@JFuzzman except a bow is not as powerful and will tire you out faster.

I think I'll take my chances with a bow....
Who else hates pornos with bad acting?
