I think he was refering to the Paul Pierce incident in the playoffs that he too came back from injury to play and win in the playoffs although his injury wasn't very severe unlike Willis.

the first 4 seconds of the video...it sounds just like...MARV ALBERT!!!!! radio announcing for the Knicks. He had to be like 29 in this broadcast. Marv has been doing this for a LONG time.

He started Announcing for the Knicks in 1967. Yes he has been doing this for a long time. It is sad that you don't hear him on MSG anymore.

i dont really know how you can say that. pierce has a higher career point average, pierce has appeared in 6 all-star games to reed's 7. pierce has made 3 all-nba teams to reed's 5. but the main thing is that they are two totally different players. Reed was a powerful forward and undersized center. pierce is a small forward who can shoot from anywhere. plus, pierce is an ironman, unlike reed, who was injury-plagued his last 3 seasons. it's like saying "bill russell sucks compared to jordan"
