Tim Young - Former Local powerhouse player and picking string giant Tim Young has fronted his own bands Thruster and Very Special Forces, as well as playing with Wayne Horvitz's Zony Mash, touring with David Sylvian and a myriad of other projects.

I first saw Tim playing with the Scallywags at Murphy's in the early 90's and it was the first time I saw a band perform a song writhing around on the floor. A few years later I saw him bust a flourescent tube across his guitar strings as he got too excited playing a version of "Tiny Bubbles" with the then Young Composer's Collective.

This excerpt presents some of his more pointillistic stylings.
