Christine is soooo fabulous... much better than Cybill, sorry Cybill fans but i cant help it, every since i found out why the show stopped i have sort of hated Cybill

I can't believe that Cybill fondles a greasy hot dog than touches Maryann 4:49 and Maryann doesn't freak out about it.

I don't think the idea that the writers cater to Christine Baranski is true. She's a great actress. A lot of the lines she has wouldn't be good if she didn't deliver them the way she did. And the same goes the other way for Cybill. Her humor is cheese ball, but she kept it that way--whereas Christine always improved the humor.

@TheFruityObsesh The show stopped production because for 4 seasons the network paid for the show, with the stipulation that when the show went into syndication they would get paid back. But the show never made any plans for syndication, because it would be too expensive to keep paying the rights on the songs Cybill sang. Once the network found out they would not be paid, they stopped production on the show and sued. This info came first hand from the original producers of the show.

Both are great actresses, yes CB is more funny but that's her role, to be more funny, Cybill has the role that we need to pity her in a funny way & a more ridiculous role, also she's the one who gives the lessons. :p

Hehe, well, good on CB for not being a complete bi-atch about it, I know that I would have had some choice quotes for the media if my co-star was like that!

Have you seen the ep of CSI that the Cybill guys wrote? They get their revenge on Cybill and Rosanne!
