This tutorial will show you use the G1 as a wifi router. The app that allowed you to do this was originally in the market place, but unfortunatly it was taken away from there. That's why we are not going to get it from the Android Market. By the way I had a cold when I was filming this video so I might have sounded kind of funny.

Part 2 will show you how to install the Wifi Tether app and how to use it. I will guide you through the complete initial setup of the app. I will also show you how to access the G1 router from your computer.

  • Hey man thanks for the video< its very helpful, but I have a problem the option intall from sd doesnt show on my phone, it just show me the option install. I did it, but it doesnt work. What can I do? Help me please..

  • Thats strange, havn't heard of that, try to re download the backup app on your phone.

  • You can connect your Wi-fi enabled games consoles. If you have good 3g coverage then you should be able to play most games online fairly well. However some are just unplayable

  • would this work with a ps3 ?
