40 Meter MMIC Gain Block Amplifier Based QRP CW Transceiever. This small sized transceiver at 3"x4" by 2.5" high packs a 6 watt punch. Varactor tuned using back to back MV209 diodes gives a 70 KHz spread on the lower end of 40M. The receiver uses three MMIC'c and the transmitter uses one. This is basically a trans-receiver with the only common elements being the low pass filter, the NE555 TR switch and the VTO. The homebrew four pole crystal filter operating at 5.185 Mhz has been optimized for a 1200 Hz bandwidth. Listen and enjoy. My website www.jessystems.com has complete details including schematics. 73's de N6QW (ex W6JFR)
