Not enough could be said of Warren. Brilliant, classical, musically schooled, and yet as "Down To Earth" as any musician could be. Zevon left a legacy of music behind. This was one of his best tunes. The prettiest song about drug addiction ever written.

I agree with the Zevonites like me. Warren was a great song writer, musician, arranger, and had a pleasant voice. "Carmelita" was one of his best. Redone my many other artists like Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, and many more. Appreciate a genius for woh he was.
