but if u look at all precious/beautiful things..therye hidden. GOLD,DIAMONDS,PEARLS, even roses have thorns to protects it.
women in Islam are more precious then all of these, that is why women wear hijab.
please get educated about Islam, 70% of converts to Islam are women..despite the FALSE claims ppl like u have.

@markee871 the most beautiful things are covered? Like the sun? the clouds? the sky? I can tell you many things that are hideous and covered, as well as beautiful and not.
Modesty? I am a proud human woman. Not an oversexualised peversion of religion. I will never cover my body and hair in shame that I am a woman and might be found tempting. How insulting to imply men cannot focus their tiny animal minds with strands of hair on show.

How ridiculous. I just find it laughable the idea that showing your hair and that you're actually female is immodest. If men are oggling, that's their fault.
Women aren't sexless. Shouldn't men cover up to protect my feeble animal mind from lustful temptation? Where's the equality in that? I am a proud woman and have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. I think to cover up to hide what you look like is to be ashamed of the way you were born. I refuse to live my life that way.

poor girls, they are so concerned with not being perceived as a person and not receiving respect from men unless they wear a hijab... and to think about it it's just a piece of fabric... if i am to wear something to cover my hair and my neck it will be for practical reasons like protecting myself from sun or cold weather ...or because that scarf is pretty and it goes with my outfit... not because the sky daddy commands me to, or men won't respect me and will try to rape me or smth...

Christianity is just as bad as Islam, it's just Islam is a younger religion with greater influence on the government and society. That is not to say that i agree with the Hijab, rather i support religious freedom but personally find the idealogy of male ownership over women abhorrent and misogynistic.

Okay, the girls in this have some good points. But lets get down to the nuts and bolts of it: If a christian man and a muslim woman fell in love... why is that such an awful thing? Why would a LOVING god not allow that? It certainly wouldn't be a bad or evil thing. Love is the lifeblood of humanity... and its only savior.

Hijab is not the culture of Arab before Islam. Islam changed the culture of Arab. It is the simple. Try to see a girl who is wearing hijab will be have the strange light on her face. They look more beautiful than the others. But this hijab prevent you to think negative about her than the others.

I have decided to stop the comments section. Due to bad language,which has been used by ill and sick minded people also saying things without no proof against islam and muslims.
Finally my sincere advice to all you is spread the good words/videos and please stop lieing against islam. Islam teaches us to be just and fair with other faiths and muslim history is full of mercy. So Please read about islam and Quran with open heart before you start swearing and use rude language against islam.
