Kindergarten Class of 2009 President Barack Obama's Web

I had no idea how interested the students were in this presidential election until I came into the classroom with my, I vote sticker and the students wanted to know why I was wearing a sticker? I told them I voted they did not know what voted meant I then explained to them what it meant and the process, they were puzzled until I said we have two candidates Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama the whole class jumped up and down with excitement screaming Barack Obama. I have worked in the education field for over thirteen years and I have never seen young children so excited about a presidential candidate or president for that matter, so I decided to start a web about the presidents duties and expectations. I was extremely excited and amazed by their interest and enthusiasm.

Funny that the kids could spell "Barack Obama" but not "Washington". America, if this is how you raise your children, then the days you have left as a superpower are even fewer than I thought.
