1994's See You In July was another concept album of sorts, this time detailing my tumultuous relationship with my then girlfriend (and future wife). The misleadingly titled Braincrusher and some of the other songs from this period have an acoustic sound that make them well-suited to this trio format with Ron on Congas and other percussion and Brett playing bass on the Roland XP-80. Also of note: I stole the initial musical idea from the Robyn Hitchcock song Railway Shoes.
