Downhill on a job and see how fast u get canned!
-
you hold the rig like a woman! obviously thats why you go down on pipe!

if you were asphyxiated for long period of times in a confined space, it can be fatal. (Argon is inert and causes no toxicological effects but it can reduce available oxygen for breathing). If you don't have available oxygen to breathe on in a confined space, i guess you know what would happen.

This is fail

argon is an inert gas. the only thing it does is asphyxiate you

Walk The Cup.

not the best way of doing it the tape pushs shit into the weld with pharmcitical that would fail you run it with no root gap and no land 1.6 first root run 2.4 cap perfect 1mm bend in the pipe and its a silver weld
This video is showing HOW a WQT is being made NOT how welding is being made. If you need information on all the welding techniques either SMAW or GTAW, we can only show inside our classroom and workshop but not here in the web. Thanks

ASME IX is uphill. Wlaking cup is at welder's discretion. If it is easier for you to what you are doing now its okay also, but walking cup is the easiest way though.
Pipeline uses downhill SMAW.

Walking cup is often used.
