Good Eye. 2008. I suspect it was upgraded by now.

Fasteners of choice are outdated from the 60's.

Wing-nuts? vs Custom fit knobs. No Way..

Tripod options I built are knobs, as wing-nuts loose are a pain,

and look like crap.

At 2:40 there is an assembly issue with the cogs, the cogs meet only on the edges. The heavier the load will be, the faster it will grind the teeths on the cogs. I'm just saying...

There is no way you will find a better pan and tilt on this planet. Hollywood is dying to get their hands on this bad boy;)

I think if aliens saw this head they would realize how advanced humans are and would never try to invade us.
