I know this video is on YouTube already, but seeing as how I recorded the video, and that I am the original owner, I feel I have the right to upload it under my user name. This video is also featured for about 5 seconds in the documentary "No End In Sight".

The shorter, but much more exciting sequel to my other video. 3rd squad, 1st platoon, E Co 2/24 on a patrol in February 2005, near Mahmudiyah, Iraq.

Recorded with a Sony DSC-P100 digital camera. If you have any doubts that I am the original owner of this video, look at the prequel, I show my face. It's also clearly the same voice as in my other videos.

I originally uploaded it to Google video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6651875753271580795&hl=en

I am aware that it was posted on Ogrish.com, it wasn't sent to them by me. I attempted to give them info about the video, they ignored me. I guess it's not nearly as exciting to them to think that we might have survived.

The real aftermath is that a Marine and a Navy Corpsman got purple hearts. We drove the truck the rest of the way back to base (minus a windshield), tried to drive it over a small canal and it got stuck (at nearly a 45 degree angle). We walked the last half mile, and we were late for chow. I don't know if the owners of the truck were ever compensated, or if they ever got their truck back. I hope they did.

  • I'm pleased these guys survived BUT, they were driving down the road like school kids on a fucking road trip, paying attention to your surroundings and concentrating on the job at hand will serve you better than treating the job like a joke.

  • Well, we shouldn't have put so many in one truck. Especially a truck with no armor. There was intel about an IED on that road that apparently we were the only ones that didn't know. Our squad leader wasn't on this patrol and we made what was a series of dumb decisions. I was a dumb boot and I am lucky to be alive, that's for sure.

  • maybe if these guys didnt act like such asshole rednecks people wouldnt want to kill em (Get the fuck out of the way) they say and they run ppl cars over with tanks and they expect the ppl to be nice...lol

  • @420chronmasta We didn't have tanks, we did mostly foot patrols (especially after this)

  • sadly these shemales in truck didnt die eh.... :(

  • @aklmnj Don't ask, don't tell hadn't been repealed yet, chief
