http://www.audiokitchen.co.uk the Lil Chopper amp from Audiokitchen. Super versatile little beast! Cool Fender cleans, to ratty, jangley vox chime, to all out compressed tube crunchiness. Check out their site for a more in depth look at this little monster.

  • @Batchylnuevos I sooo CAN play!

  • Sounds like every other BooTeek amp out there; another toy for rich kids who can't play.

  • TALK BOXES!

  • PROBETTGUITARS: If I knew the answer to that, I would write a book about it and charge $2000 a copy ;). This is just YouTube, not a professional R&D test panel. If someone says "badass", what does that mean in practical terms? If you get wound up over vague negative things, why not do the same for vague positive things? I didn't see anyone say they couldn't afford the amp, but assuming that they couldn't, how does someone's thoughts about something that is truly beyond their reach limit them?

  • PROBETTGUITARS : I agree with your assessment of the design purpose...that's what I had gleaned from their website at least. On your second point though, this is a demo channel...bridging the gap between hearsay and actual experience with the equipment, so I think that it is fair for people to comment on what they experience from the demo. As for large vs small companies...can't presume that the competition is "large", but yeah, there are other criteria...import vs domestic is another popular 1

  • @PROBETTGUITARS : I agree that the utility of any equipment is unrelated to its price...unless there is an alternate product that yields the same or better utility at a lower cost, in which case, cost does become a significant factor. I further agree that if the utility of a particular tool is undesirable, then its cost is completely irrelevant, as it wouldn't be useful even if it were free. Just commenting on the line of thinking, not the product.
