Letra de la canción:

There is a lonely train called the 3.10 to Yuma
The pounding of the wheels is more like a mournful sigh
There's a legend and there's a rumour
When you take the 3.10 to Yuma
You can see the ghosts of outlaws go ridin' by (Ridin' by)
In the sky (In the sky), way up high
The buzzards keep circlin' the train
While below the cattle are thirstin' for rain

It's also true they say on the 3.10 to Yuma
A man may meet his fate
For fate travels ev'rywhere
Though you've got no reason to go there
And there ain't a soul that you know there
When the 3.10 to Yuma whistles its sad refrain
Take that train (Take that train)
Take that train

So when you take the train called the 3.10 to Yuma
And leave the things you love
You leave with a silent prayer (Silent prayer)
Though you've got no reason to go there
And there ain't a soul that you know there
When the 3.10 to Yuma whistles its sad refrain
Take that train
Take that train

  • i didnt know that there was an original movie,i thougt the 2007 one is the original.....

  • @guzicaguzica I think they were referring to Glenn Ford, not John Ford.

  • Glen Ford is one of the very few actors that I really wish I could have met

  • @guzicaguzica i was misstaken u are right delmar davies he was a great director also. loved glenn ford in all his movies he did jubal with felicia farr also.

  • is not a Ford's western. It is the best movie of Delmer Davies and one of he best westerns !

    evaldo

    Brazil

  • This is a CLASSIC......one of the best westerns ever made.......EVER MADE !

Van Heflin and Glenn Ford are incredible actors and Frankie Laine's music was

the finnishing touch to this true classic

  • It's not Ford. Delmer Daves.

  • Dialog is in Spanish, but the title track, by Frankie Lane is complete, both the opening and closing portions. BTW 3:10's last minute or so is one of the most powerfull movie endings I've ever seen: from 3:45 on in this clip. I think some of the dialog might have been omitted, but the score, Frankie Lane's voice, the wife standing and waving in the rain,... A masterpiece.

  • the finest of many ford westerns
