Zoo-Med Turtle Dock Review: Your Results May Vary

This is my review on the ever popular Zoo-Med Turtle Dock. Hopefully it'll give you potential buyers some more insight on whether or not to buy it. For those who already have one then this can be used for reference.

My main issue with this product is that it isn't turtle proof. Meaning that a turtle will destroy this product with ease if it realizes it's something fun to gnaw on.

I'm not the end all turtle expert but I have been in the hobby for a significant part of my life. These videos are a way for me to share my knowledge with the world.

I got it and the suction cups were crappy. I replaced it with another brand that was just as crappy :/ why are docks so CRAPPY!?

@seanfenrir It's not the dock, it's the suction cups. Try zip ties if you can. I changed to a homemade above tank basking area.

My turtle tries to get on it, but it doesn't float enough to keep my turtle dry.. What suggestions do you have so that my turtle can bask?

@TaiWalkerG The only other commercial option that's worth trying is the "Turtle Topper". If that doesn't work for you then you may want to try building your own.

Works fine for me, but my turtle is still growing but only bout 4 inches. I don't see it lasting for when she gets bigger. I agree with this video.

I got that for 15.00 dollars with some other stuff, but it was on clearance.
