yeah a little awkward, would have been better if the girl had a puppy with her and he sang it to the puppy or a kitten or SOMETHING while she watched .... classic, but Allan is a little out of his element here and reaching .... My Funny Valentine it ain't

Egad you weirdos. Get your mind out of the gutter. This was the late 50's when artists serenading little children was common and not at all creepy. All variety show hosts of the time had similar pieces, including the then expected chaste kiss on the lips. Don't judge the past by today's warped standards please.

He lived from November 30, 1924 to November 20, 1973. I think he was a true genius.
