金唐酒家在新填街/上海街(住置不大確認), 我舅父40年代到80年代都有在這裡品茗, 晚飯的習慣.

一列戰前廣州式舊樓. 那裡的女侍應跟客人都是幾十年的老朋友, 我依稀記得我少年時(距今30年左右)和我的舅父(當年70歲了­)差不多是最後到金唐品茗的一次.

一個最少60多歲肥胖而又身穿旗袍的女侍應走過來跟我舅父打招呼­, 閒話家常, 說些街談巷議的八卦事宜.

一派的舒閒安逸, 現今人物俱非. 真是令人總有奈何之感.

Once I like snake soup very much, especially adding a lot of lemon leaves, pepper power......After knowing that there are many parasites in forms of worms resided inside the snake, I quit! By the way 丁皓 had turned in to a lady while she was still a little girl in the film Manbo Girl in 1957

金唐酒家我每個星期都去的,後來政府收地做了個人流甚低的小公園­,老式酒家好像己絕種了。

I ate snake soup once when I was in Hong Kong. Not bad but I would not pay for it, too expensive. It tastes a bit like chicken.
