BEAUTIFUL song...but sad, that the audience has to be prompted to WORSHIP!!! Man, our God is SO WORTHY OF OUR PRAISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS SONG ROCKS!!!!!

it may not have been one of those times when people were supposed to stand up, ya know? sometimes our church does the "someone is going to sing a song, just sit and reflect on the words" usually in response to a sermon with a pertinent / similar message. i feel like saddleback of all places is a pretty worshipful one.

When I first saw everyone sitting down, I was kind of sad. I used to be quiet and watch everyone else worship too so I know where they are coming from. But there is freedom when we surrender during worship with lifting our hands as a way to say I'm Yours God, all of me. There's freedom in worship it's a way for us to draw near to God. God says to draw near to Him and He'll respond. It's amazing when we catch the Father's love, we can't help but worship Him.

can't believe the audience are not worshipping. What sort of church is this? We can only dream to have someone like Phil at our church.

haha buddy lifts his hands high at 3:21 to stretch ... first hands to go up in the whole place lol!

@freshraj The first time I heard the first 30 seconds of this song I started to worship God...That is not any excuse, and people at concerts do not worship for show...don't really know what concerts you go to...anyway God Bless
-
@minismartie08 they shouldn't be the audience... The real audience is very pleased with His children's hearts lifting up His name when our hands can't be lifted high enough.

@freshraj Very well said. And also Phil Wickham doesn't write songs for people to sing and worship to, his songs are more about telling stories. I don't blame people for not wanting to sing this atall. D x
I can't help but be sad that Phil had to even ASK the people there to stand and worship HIM!

Even though there doesn't seem to be much of an external response to these songs, it doesn't mean that thoughts of God isn't on their minds or hearts at that moment. If the people are applying Romans 12:1-2 in the midst of this sinful world, I can't really knock on them. From what it looks like, most of them are probably old fashioned which is why it seems dead. We can never underestimate how the Holy Spirit works in people's hearts. That's just what I think, I could be wrong haha
