im a brit, so the best temp i seem to be getting is around 18 - 20 :/ haha

I really want to get into making my own beer. Would you say it's better to keep the brews cold when the fermentation process is happening? It's just I live in the UK and it's cold at the moment and the place the beer would go is going to be cold.

Just a quick one: How long did fermentation take and at what temp? The 4 days in the instructions seems a bit short. And how long did you let it sit in the bottles?

@dutchmichigan I go with 8 to 10 days at around 72F. Bottled for at least two weeks, but you can try it any time.
