  • What shall thy next invention be? Buckets of mung do not count.

  • Hey all you Naysayers! Go eat a GOO GOO CLUSTER!

  • alberoo, if you wish to study the master, Earl, and even great dobro pickin' by Uncle Josh, get some of the recently released DVDs of the old Flatt and Scruggs Martha White shows. There is a lot of shots of the camera zooming in to show the hands of the great pickers as they work. You will love those old shows just for that!!! There are 6 DVDs now, which you can buy on Ebay or other places online.

  • Yes,Earl Scruggs is alive and well.He turned 84 on January 6,2008.

  • Great, great video but too much of a tease. I'm an aspiring picker myself and sometimes it helps those of us who can't afford to buy instructional and regular DVDs and music to be able to go on here and watch the masters perform. The thought is there, but how 'bout some full lengthers?
