  • tony dungy is proof that black coaches as a group are exactly equal to white coaches as a group! his stature as a moderately successful, 1/8 black man as a coach in the nfl proves that not only is the overwhelming underrepresentation of whites among pro athletes not racist, but that the slight overrepresentation of blacks among coaches is deeply, outrageously racist! checkmate, you nazi racist bastards!

  • i uhh would like uhh to say uhhh that uhhh despite uhh the fact that uhh whites are uhh clearly uhh discriminated uhh against in the uhh hiring uhh of players uhh in uhh pro uhh sports, uhh, it's uhh racist to uhh suggest that uhh black uhh coaches are uhh not as good uhh as white coaches, uhh but it's not racist uhh to suggest uhh that white uhh players are uhh, at the uhh end of the day uhh not uhh as uhh good uhh as uhh black uhh players.

  • Ok I was a division 1 football player on the national championship team in 2006 don't even begin to tell me that either of those school are even remotely teams that can recruit or play competitively with any the top tier teams in their conferences.Whens the last time washington or kst even finished in the top 5 in their divions.Recruiting their not even in the picture with subpar programs in the country so please explain what 91 or 04 are doing for them today. How is that for an uneducated reply

  • plus, don't give me any "big time schools don't hire minoritys". look at your school, florida has not hired a minority coach. oklahoma has (john blake, 1996, he was the worst coach in ou history). i,m not saying minority coaches can't coach, but then again, maybe i am, because very few of them can get it done in a "win now" environment. i,d like to see more minoritys get a chance, but it's a combination between the winning culture and the pressure from fans that get minoritys few chances.

  • now that was a very uneducated reply, washington won a national title in 1991 behind a stiff defense and was a competitive until rick neuheisel was railroaded out of town in 2003, not to mention, the huskies are a 5 star school in a large market. kansas state was in the fiesta bowl in 2004 and lost to ohio state by 7, it just so happens they happen to be in a very tough conference in the big 12. prince should have had one more year, but willingham should be gone, he can't get it done.

  • You start out by saying two coaches who played for lower tier teams who have nothing to offer recruits. Not to mention there is no pride in either of those programs. The reason why black coaches don't get hired is because they end up with peace crap jobs at peace crap schools and they don't want those jobs and the upper tier teams have racist booster who will never give them a chance it has nothing to do with their race

  • People keep saying that white people are discriminated against that is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard be serious the amount of black players in the nfl show that their are alot who know the game and people are saying is in a sport dominated by blacks why isn't there more black coaches its a simple concept.

  • excatly,i mean, turner gill is a awesome football at buffalo, but tyrone willingham and ron prince did'nt cut the mustard at u-dub and k-state respectivly. yet, they think they are racist because they fired them. the sad fact is many african americans can't cut the mustard on the big stage. it's funny john saunders critized america for not thinking colleges should be required to interview black coaches, yet he judged us for voting for obama. no, we put obama in office because he can get it done.

  • What about the number of white players in the NBA?Maybe we need to establish a WHITE NBA players assiciation!:)Diversity? What about hiring someone based on qualifications? What about Judging a man by the qaulity of his character and NOT his skin color???:)
