@Morhek ditto. My parents were also huge fan of this. It was such a shame that the show started going to shit around the 2000 mark.

My mum was a huge fan when I was a kid, and I loved the show. It probably wasn't something a ten-year-old should have liked, or that his parents would have encouraged him to watch, but it was brilliant. This is I think the point I got up to before I lost track - next thing I know, Polly's boyfriend's trying to kill her or something, and thw whole of CID's been fired because of Don Beech.
My mum refused to watch it after that. She still has a few Chris Deakin wallpapers.
